Week 6

one more!

Snow Update!

Well - according to the weather network, Moncton has received about 96 inches of snow - that's 8 feet!  Sad to think that the week of Christmas we were begging for snow so we could have a white Christmas - well it came, and is still coming!  The kids have missed about a day a week of school since they started back after New Years!  We had a big one hit us again today, it was enough to cancel all meetings except for Sacrament - and we couldn't even get out of our driveway to go to that!  Well, good thing we have plenty of cocoa and firewood - because we haven't seen the end of it!


Here are some pictures to show how much snow we have - this is after the boys went out and unburied us this morning...

What you don't see is that edge of this has two steps below it to the ground - so we have at least 5 feet of snow there!

End of January

We are surviving our snow storms, cold weather and all fun stuff that comes with living in Canada - so here is what we did this week....

Week 3

I am suppose to be down here cleaning my office - but instead, well I finished week 3!  Hurray for this blog, bad for me, who still has to clean....

Abby turns 6

Abby is offically 6!  It's hard to believe that she is that old....Here is a little sneak from her celebrations this week!

Thank you Grandmother and Granddaddy!  Bath time is now lots more fun!

Thanks Aunt Jennifer - Ethan and I spent all Wednesday afternoon of our snow day making paper dolls!

Yum!  My birthday dinner of Cinnamon Bun Pancakes with Frosting Syrup!

After dinner, Ethan, Mom and I churned my first blizzard treat!  It was a lot more work than I expected, but it was sure yummy!

I had a wonderful birthday party swimming at the aquatic center!  I invited my friends from kindergarten.  After swimming, we had pizza, opened presents and had yummy cupcakes!

Week One

Ok, so I have a New Years Resolution - I tried last year, and got pretty far, but I am going to try this again. A picture a day for 365 days - big undertaking!  I thought if I posted them here, well it might motivate me to blog more....so here it goes! Wish me luck!
